tried playing todays version

please add a main menu with options regarding
-mouse sensitivity
-keybinds
-audio volume for the different channels (music, background, voice, etc.)

most male portrays look female. maybe you can give the AI a different set of images for training, containing no female pictures at all.

the mouse cursor always shows, being very irritating.

it is not clear to me, if the cursor or my character's position is important for interaction with items or people

Since the next release will be dedicated to small things around the castle, I'll try and find the time to fit in some quality of life features like you suggested. And I think only Fabian's got that problem, but it's somewhat intentional

Will there be a fast travel system? I kind of gave up because I couldn't find the bridge or the classes. Map didn't really help.

There are some fast travels now but they are unlocked at later stages of the game. If anyone is reading this and having trouble with the bridge, it is on the third floor of the Western Building (the one you start in).

There's a lot that can be done in terms of improving performance and it's something I might have a look at here after the next major content release. Probably like 50% of it is just down to finding a 3d modeller to replace the current models though. I'm definitely not an 3d artist

After extracting I get the game icon but OS can't open that.

Hi! I've managed to get myself stuck outside the Gryffindor common room of a night time, and can't figure out how to either re-enter or skip the night. If you could give me a tip, I'd greatly appreciate it!


Also, the AI art looks great, and I was wondering if you'd be okay telling me what model you used to generate it, along with any essential key words. Thanks very much!

As in, you sat in the chair to wait for nighttime past curfew and you can't enter the common room again, or is this related to the ball party quest? First time I've seen this bug, sorry! And it's an AnyPastel mix together with different loras as needed for different characters 

Whenever I try to enter the common room, I can't as I don't know the night password.

If the ball party quest is active still, you need to talk to a girl in the middle of the floor in the upper part of the ballroom. It's also skippable by simply talking to the Gryffindors in the same area, and then doing the part with Hermione.

If the ballparty is finished, there's definitely a bug here

Are the Training Weights, Design in the Dark and Ghoul Mischief quests not finished yet? I can't complete them. I can't interact with Hana after I've stolen the weights, Ava's room isn't open at night and I can't find the abandoned corridor.

Once you've figured out the map, great game though. Multiple save states and/or a gallery would be good, too.

Training Weights and Design in the Dark were bugged towards the end and should have their final fix coming up on here in an hour or two, along with some changes to the background vistas and minor bugs. Apologise for that! I can send you a build that takes you directly to the end of Designs in the Dark if it is.

Ghoul Mischief questline should be complete-able up until the point you finish the thing in the Slytherins' Common Room. If it isn't, please let me know

I realise the directions for it are really poor, sorry! It should be on the first floor, the same place with the entrance to the cellar for the quest where you steal alcohol. Behind the old dude and the tents there is a ladder up

Coming down the main staircase in the building with the common room etc, just go through the door basically directly in front of it, across the yard, and then along the cliff to the right

Followed your instructions and crossed the courtyard,but turning left ends in a drop out of bounds where I can walk up the background mountains ,and taking the path to the right ends in a invisible wall,dont know if I went the wrong way or if that area is just empty due to a bug :/

Couldnt locate any bridge up the stairs. Did clip through a door and got trapped outside the map. Hope these issues get fixed, hope to see it go well!

Thanks for the stress test! Fixed the missing colliders now, thanks! In terms of the camera clipping through colliders and the janky movement in general, an update is coming to that soon (as soon as I've placed roofs everywhere, now that you can look up)

hey, i like the idea of the game. i noticed the wall right to the dorr to the player-room, has no colliders. also i cant seem to manage to leave the first section of the game because i cant interact with anything and there is a invisible wall leading to the hall where the students are standing. also, it would be nice to quit to main menu instead of alt+f4 and restarting the game.

i also noticed, that if other students are at the side of the screen, their model bugs out and you can only see their clothes.

That's a problem of the occlusion culling being a little overzealous, yup. Will probably have to tone it down. The invisible wall is removed and the school opened after you go to your room and sleep, but I'll try and make it more clear because I realise the directions generally aren't all clear

Hahah, it's how it goes. Thanks a lot, seriously!

I like the artwork and overall idea, but I wasn't able to get very far into it for a couple of reasons. First, I noticed that if you press "S" to go backwards, most the time you still go forwards. Second, the control of the camera is very weird having to use "A" and "D" to look around. To me it feels kinda janky. If you could give mouse control for it that would be great. Third, the map is quite confusing. It was hard to even find the charms class following the directions the quest log gave. Finally, there is no Quit button? 

A bug I also noticed is the large pillar like things throughout the common room can be walked through. Other than this, I couldn't find myself playing it more currently.

Thanks for the feedback! The controls are definitely janky still. Planning to implement a fix to it along with an update that's coming to the camera in general.

Before that, I should have a map with the general layout up tomorrow/today when I've slept! Also, pillars have now been given colliders lol, thanks.
